Dr. Peter Bui
Dr. Bui attended the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate study and graduated with a degree in Biology in 2000. He attended the University Of Houston College Of Optometry and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2004. Dr. Bui attended an additional post-graduate residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore from 2005-2006, focusing on ocular disease management.
Dr. Bui has a special interest in myopia management to help slow down the progression of myopia (nearsightedness) in children. He is very nearsighted himself, so he knows how severe myopia can affect a person’s life. He attends conferences with the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control to learn new information regarding myopia management.
Dr. Bui is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, Northeast Texas Optometric Society, and a member of the American Optometric Association. He was also the past president of the North East Texas Optometric Society, a member of the Texas Optometric Association, a member of the American Optometric Association, and a member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control.
Dr. Minh Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Wake Forest University in 2005. He attended the University Of Houston College Of Optometry and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree in 2014.
Dr. Nguyen received additional training working with the Cherokee Nation Hospitals through Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma which emphasized on Diabetic Retinopathy management. Dr. Nguyen has a special interest in ocular disease management in addition to management of refractive surgery and cataract surgery.
A past math instructor for high school students, he prides himself on his desire to educate every patient regarding their eyes to promote good ocular health and disease prevention.
He is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and a member of the American Optometric Association. In his free time, he coordinates monthly Pokémon Go events in his community, encouraging families and other individuals to engage in regular physical activity.


Dr. Judy Xu
Dr. Judy Xu earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating summa cum laude. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science and Arts degree in Biochemistry. During her optometry training, Dr. Xu completed externships at the Cedar Springs Community Clinic and the Naval Medical Center and is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ocular conditions, with special interest in managing glaucoma, dry eye, and myopia management. She is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Outside of her professional work, Dr. Xu enjoys walking the trails at Arbor Hills with her husband, trying new recipes and restaurants, and playing board games. A Plano native, she is thrilled to return to her community and offer quality eye care to her neighbors. Dr. Xu is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
